The Fonthill Inn is a luxury Inn in the heart of Fonthill. Each suite is decorated individually with handpicked furniture, art, and antiques. The overall design has an urban industrial twist. A little unexpected!
The Inn is unique in that upon arrival using a pre-arranged access code you avoid any delays at a front desk. This is because there is no front desk! You simply go to your suite and let yourself in. At the end of your stay, the cleaning staff will just change the code ready for the next guest.
The Fonthill Inn is proud to be completely pet friendly! We have a love for animals ourselves and we understand the heartbreak that comes with leaving them when we go on vacation. Many of our guests have large dogs, so be aware as well that you may briefly encounter some large furry friends during your stay!
EXTENDED STAY Because our suites are full-service apartments our specialty is long term stays. The suites are perfect for folks that are waiting for their new home to be built or simply wish to vacation for a full season. All you need is your toothbrush and clothes. Bookings can be arranged by the week, by the month, or by the night if you're looking for a shorter stay (two night minimum).
CHECK-IN
Each suite has its own touchpad, keyless entry. The passcode for your suite will be provided before your reservation. The passcode will become active at 3 pm at the beginning of your stay.
CHECK OUT
Please be respectful of an 11 am check-out so we have adequate time to clean and sanitize before our next guest arrives. Late checkouts can sometimes be accomodated but please inquire before that morning!
PARKING
The parking is located on the Pelham Town Square side of the building. There is a set of stairs to negotiate to get to all suites except the "Grape and Wine" and "On the Green". To avoid carrying bags up the stairs they can be dropped off at the Pelham street side of the building where there is another entrance to the suite. It should be noted as well that the "Effingham" suite requires two sets of stairs.
LOCATION
The Fonthill Inn, nestled in quaint Fonthill, is centrally located in Niagara. It is just a twenty minute drive to Niagara Falls, St. Catharines or Port Colborne. Convieniently located within a 5 minute walking distance is a Giant Tiger, Pet Valu, Shoppers Drug Mart, Beer Store, the Fonthill Library, and a handful of restaurants to choose from!
HOUSE KEEPING
A house keeper will clean your suite and change linens weekly, depending on the suite you're staying in this will be every Monday or Tuesday.
BATH and BODY PRODUCTS The Inn is pleased to offer the new Beekind Collection of Bath and Body Products from Gilchrist and Soames. These unique products were chosen because they are an ideal combination of environmental responsibiltiy and personal luxury. They contain no parabens, phthalates, petrol-derived ingredients, mineral oil, urea or propylene glycol. They are also free of any artificial colours or dyes. Along with the eco-friendly packaging and formulas, proceeds of the net sales of BeeKind support honey bee and sustainable pollination research at the University of California Davis.
